Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson at the UK premiere of “Marley and Me”

Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson photographed on the red carpet promoting the movie Marley & Me. The event took place at the Vue Leicester Squre, London.
Told in first-person narrative, the book portrays Grogan and his family’s life during the thirteen years that they lived with their dog Marley, and the relationships and lessons from this period. Marley, a yellow Labrador Retriever, is described as a highly strung, boisterous, and somewhat uncontrolled dog. He is strong, powerful, endlessly hungry, eager to be active, and often destructive of their property (but completely without malice). Marley routinely fails to “get the idea” of what humans expect of him and at one point the comment is made that mental illness might be a plausible explanation for his behavior. His acts and behaviors are forgiven, however, since it is clear that he has a heart of gold and is merely living within his nature.
During his escapades he makes a two-minute credited appearance in the movie The Last Home Run (filmed in 1996 and released in 1998).
The strong contrast between the problems and tensions caused by his neuroses and behavior, and the undying devotion, love and trust shown towards the human family as they themselves have children and grow up to accept him for what he is, and their grief when he finally dies in old age, form the backdrop for the biographical material of the story. - courtesy of wikipedia

Alyson Hannigan shows off her baby bump with husband, Alexis Denisof

Alyson Hannigan shows off her baby bump with husband, Alexis Denisof, at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences presentation of “An Evening with How I Met Your Mother” at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood, California.
I especially love how they seem so happy and excited about their pregnancy! If these 2 look familiar to you you might also recognize them from “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” and “Angel” where both played alongside actors Seth Green, David Boreanaz, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Julie Benz. Both shows are now Resting In Peace but had a huge cult following where Alyson Hannigan played “Willow” and Alexis Denisof played “Wesley” on both shows.
Of course you might also recognize Alyson Hannigan from the American Pie movies where she will forever be known for the phrase “This one time at band camp” well if you have seen it you I am sure know the rest:) Lets hope her poor kid doesn’t see it when he is older!

Kate Beckinsale - actress

Born in Finsbury Park, London,Beckinsale is the daughter of actor Richard Beckinsale, who died from a heart attack in 1979, and actress Judy Loe. She has a paternal half-sister, Samantha, who is also an actress. Beckinsale's paternal great-grandfather was Burmese, and Beckinsale has said that she was "very oriental-looking" as a child.
Beckinsale attended the Godolphin and Latymer School, an all-girls independent school in London. In her teens, Beckinsale twice won the W. H. Smith Young Writers' competition — once for three short stories and once for three poems. After a rebellious adolescence, including a period of anorexia and starting a smoking habit, she followed in the footsteps of her parents and began her acting career.

Her first role was in One Against the Wind, a television film about World War II that was first aired in 1991. Having gained three language A levels, Beckinsale studied French and Russian literature at New College, Oxford, though she did not finish her degree. She thought that having an academic background studying foreign language and literature would broaden her range of acting roles.
During her first year at Oxford, Beckinsale was offered a part in Kenneth Branagh's big-screen film, Much Ado About Nothing, adapted from the Shakespeare play. She spent her last year of studies in Paris, after which she decided to leave the university and concentrate on her acting career. In 1994, Beckinsale had a supporting role in Prince of Jutland, which she worked with actor Christian Bale, whom would later reunite in 2002 drama Laurel Canyon. Kate starred in Haunted (1995) with Aidan Quinn and John Gielgud and in the 1996 TV film adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma.
She subsequently appeared in a few low-profile films, including Shooting Fish and The Last Days of Disco, both in 1998. During this time, Beckinsale also appeared in television films and in stage roles, including the well-received Cold Comfort Farm, opposite British film and television notables Rufus Sewell, Eileen Atkins, Joanna Lumley and Stephen Fry.

Pakistani Stocks End Up Over Rising Oil Prices

Pakistani stocks ended higher on Friday as investors bought energy shares such as Oil and Gas Development Co Ltd (OGDCL) following a rise in international oil prices, dealers said.

The KSE’s benchmark 100-share index closed up 0.64 per cent, or 76.29 points, at 11,960.21 points.

Volume fell to 75.6 million shares, compared with 95.53 million traded on Thursday.

“The local bourse closed in positive, predominantly supported by OGDCL,” said Samar Iqbal, a dealer at Topline Securities Ltd.

OGDCL ended 2.75 per cent higher at 152.20 rupees.

Brent crude rose above $111 as comments from Iran that it might stop exports to the European Union intensified worries about security of supply, while positive data from the United States also acted as a support.
